Factory Five figured someone would try to squeeze a 427 into the GTM's engine bay, so they did it first, and with some room to spare! The red prototype uses the Porsche G96 six-speed trans found in GT3 Porsches. A G50 Porsche transaxle from '87-98 two-wheel-drive 911s is used in the black car, which has the lower (350-horse) engine.
