The seats look like some of the most comfortable butt holders we've seen in a roadster/racer. The Shell Valley custom buckets (stitched up by Stitches Upholstery of Genoa, NE) are soft, well padded, upholstered in black Allante simulated leather, and they'll feel awfully good on those long road tours.

The dash is complemented by a Mr. Roadster wood-ring steering wheel to give an air of class and refinement while the six Daytona gauges tell the driver what he needs to know.

Something other than wire wheels and knock-offs on this car would be a crime, wouldn't it? Multi-spoke Dayton wires, wrapped in BFGoodrich Radial/TA 215/65-15 tires, make for a very sharp English picture (and the flip-up gas cap is a nice touch, too).

A Ford 302 engine might be different from the original's 3442cc straight-six but, hey, Ford now owns Jaguar! Go figure! This 300-horse mill is bulletproof, and should take this 2,300lb Cat to triple digits in a hurry. Edelbrock Performance manifold and 650-cfm carburetor add power to the setup.

Just as on the original C-types, the exhaust runs only down the length of driver's side of the vehicle, not the passenger's.

What a sleek stalker this is. The headlight pods will be encased in Lexan in the future (better aerodynamics), the same as SVC does with its Daytona Series 1 Coupe.

The grille is true to the Jaguar tradition, as are the leather straps that hold the bonnet in place.

There were more louvers on the original, but Shell Valley made a good choice by not going overboard with them.

Dual 2" taillights are traditional and enhance the package.
