Mike installed a 289 into the nose of his FIA car, but not without tweaking it a bit before doing so. Bumped to 294 cubes with an .030 overbore, the '66 block was assembled using a FoMoCo crank, TRW pistons set at 10:1 compression, and SCAT H-beam rods. Up top, four 48 IDF Weber carbs bring the mix to a pair of Edelbrock Performer RPM heads, and spent gasses exit through a custom header and muffler setup from Unique Motorcars. View Related Article
