Economical TIG Welder
HTP America, Inc. announces the Invertig 160DC-an affordable, full-featured TIG welder capable of welding steel and stainless steel 4130 chrome moly tubing, as well as other ferrous materials. The Invertig 160 is easy to operate. Arc adjustment is located on the front of the welder or remotely with the optional foot pedal or torch mounted amperage control. Slope down, final current, and post gas flow are all standard, as is a pulser that allows the operator to DC pulse TIG from 0.5Hz to 300Hz. The new Invertig 160DC welds up to 5/16-inch steel, weighs only 32 lbs and measures just 16-inch long x 12 1/2inch wide x 8-inch high, allowing this versatile machine to be brought to any fabrication site. In addition, it operates on 110 or 220 volts so it can be plugged into most electrical outlets and used anywhere.
