Installing the shocks is a simple bolt-on procedure using the stock hardware from the donor. The quad shock is mounted 180 degrees, with the small end of the unit toward the back. This is necessary to clear the 275/40-17 tires that will fill the rear wheelwells. Note the steel cable attached to the frame and lower shock mount; it’s designed to prevent the driveshaft from binding if the car gets airborne. View Related Article
