This is a computer-generated sketch I did of the car with the proposed headrest. This allowed me to try several roll-bar configurations to see how they'd look first. The first step is to measure for bar height. It needs to be 2.5 inches above the top of the driver's helmet to keep most race officials happy. If you intend to share driving privileges with someone taller, give yourself some extra room or measure them in the car as well. View Related Article
