The backing plate fitting is slipped into place on the backing plate bracket and the lock nut is tightened down. We recommend the use of line wrenches (they are box end wrenches with one open segment so you can slip it over a brake or fuel line) when working with brake lines to keep from damaging the fasteners. View Related Article
